Preview Service :: THIS Sunday, August 30

August 27, 2009

promocardback

We would love for you, your family, and your friends to join us for the second public worship experience in the history of Awaken Church!

You’ll be led in worship by our worship leader, Josh Davis, and the Awaken Band. Our Lead Pastor, Jay Hardwick, will finish a 2-part message series called “No Perfect People Allowed.”

Some people think they aren’t good enough to follow Jesus. Some people think they are good enough and have earned a place in Heaven. The problem is, both groups are wrong. Join us as we unlock the truth of God’s grace from the most compelling story Jesus ever told.

The service will begin at 10:30 am and we meet at Polo Road Elementary School. Click here for directions to Polo Road.

AwakenKidsOptionWhile you’re in the adult service, your kids will have a BLAST in AwakenKids!

AwakenKids offers a kid-friendly experience for preschoolers ages 6 weeks-5 years and elementary-aged kids K5-5th grade that includes songs, activities, and Bible teaching in a clean, secure, age-appropriate environment. AwakenKids Elementary also features small group time to help kids apply the Bible lesson to their everyday lives.

All of our AwakeKids leaders have been trained and have passed background checks, so you can have confidence your kids will have an incredible experience!

AwakenKids check-in will open at 10:10 am and we encourage you to arrive at that time so you have plenty of time to get your kids checked in and for you to make it to the adult service by 10:30 am.

Classes are divided by age: 6 weeks-2 years; 3 years-5 years; and K5-5th grade

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday! If you have questions, please email us at AwakenColumbia@gmail.com.

Preview Service :: THIS Sunday, August 16

August 10, 2009

We absolutely cannot wait until Sunday and Awaken Church’s first public worship experience! We call it a Preview Service because it is just that…an opportunity for people from the community to come experience what a Sunday worship experience at Awaken is like.

AwakenKids, our environments uniquely designed for preschoolers and elementary-aged children, will be up and running as well. All of our AwakenKids volunteers have gone through a background check and training and cannot wait to help your kids begin to understand the gospel in an age-appropriate environment! Your kids will enjoy songs, games, activities, and an age appropriate Bible story in a clean, safe, kid-friendly environment. AwakenKids check-in will open at 10:10 am and we encourage you to arrive at that time so you have plenty of time to check-in your kids before the adult worship experience begins at 10:30 am

Our adult worship experience will feature worship led by Josh Davis and the Awaken Church band, a message from Lead Pastor Jay Hardwick, and the opportunity to respond to God in an authentic, relevant environment.

Join us on Sunday at 10:30 am at Polo Road Elementary School (1250 Polo Road, Columbia, 29223). Our parking team and host team will greet you, help you find a place to park, make sure you know where to take your kids, and make sure you know where to go for the adult service. All are welcome, so bring some friends with you, too!

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday! If you have questions, please email us at awakencolumbia@gmail.com.
